That's not where the big money is made in this game. So what, rich players can buy their way up a tech tree? Big whoop. I can't buy the latest premium ship with credits in any way. Our economy is not as affected by affluent credit hoarders as it is there. It's not like this is Star Trek Online where players can buy each other's premium content via an in-game exchange with credits. I don't even understand what the problem is. On the other hand, people like me who rarely even get to 10 million will barely play these things and we get punished for during to do so. That's hardly an effective sink for this "problem" that WG has with people banking loads of credits. People who sit on 100s of millions won't feel the loss of these credits from playing superships. The Perma camos also do not reduce costs or increase earnings, but do increase XP generation. Hence the double or triple credit price on Superships relative to their Tier X counterparts, and doubly high service costs. The monetary value of each of my T10 ships is $500 each? Pay the ex-wife her half of that please. That was the original scheme for Tier X ships, they were supposed to require you to play several games in Tier 6/7/8 ships to each Tier 10 ship to maintain a positive credit flow, but they've inflated credit income so much (from flags/missions/permacamos/special ships/etc) that to maintain the economy, WG feels they need some way to drain credits. Sad part is that I see money changing hands in ways I find most unappealing. Look nice, but they are about worthless out of context. I see these 'prizes' as nothing more than plaques that hang on the wall. I'm sure the value of a WOWS account has been fought over in a divorce dispute as well. I've been in a courtroom where stuff like this is quoted. You owe $4 in taxes.Īs a matter of fact, you work for those containers, so that's taxable INCOME. We need to be careful with the language in that 'Winnings' from gambling is a taxable income. If you "lose", you get a small container with only 1 item, rather than the 3 you'd get with the other non-TYL options. No, it really is a gamble to select "try your luck", because they made it that way.
